If you join www.centrebet.com and place a $100 bet then spend the $100 on a World Cup event, they send you a $130 jersey voucher for Rebel sport. Sounds too good to be true. A work-mate told me about this. He has rang Centrebet and they send it out to you and at the latest it will arrive in a week according to them.

australia vs holland.
good job by the boys. the scoreline didnt reflect the game, but it will give them a lot of confidence
we really need cahill and kewell in the team. we just dont have the depth. wilkishire and stjenkovic(or whatever his name is) were pretty much anonymous. we really need kewell to run at the opposition and hold up the ball in the attacking half, and need kewell for his runs to support viduka. at times viduka was isolated by himself upfront. not much he coudl do with 2/3 defenders around him. saw the impact cahill had in the second half. really need that. cullina was brilliant again. and of course my fav man bresciano did a good job too. just not enough support for these two form wilkisher or stjenkovic in regrads to attacking moves. we cant start the world cup wihtout kewell or cahill. skoko who is the other option is decent, but we really need those two to play.
defensively we are quite weak. dutch play through the wings was brilliant. emerton is really weak defensively. ronaldinho will kill him unless he recieves a lot of support from players around him. chipperfield was decent. good going forward, but again suspect defensively. you can tell he's not a natural defender. doesnt have the anticipation. and neither does grella. cant read the game all that well. the dutch thrive on runs from midfield. any one of cocu, sneijder, van bommel or van der vaart can make those insisive runs. and with RVN holding up the ball and releasing players(he's just brilliant at that) they will score a lot of goals thru the middle. RVN is still the finist poacher around. perfectly stayed onside, and you only need to give him one chance. schwazzer probably coudl have odne better, but when you punch the ball clear(he did well with that) it cna be hard to choose the direction. unfortunate but at the highest level they will make you pay. overall he had an excellent game. definately my no.1. i dont know why there is even a debate. i havent see kalac play(didnt do much against the greeks cause he didnt have to) but there in lies his problem. no big game time experience. hasnt played much all season. might be a better keeper than schwazzer but its a risk. moore and neill were pretty solid, but they need to organise the defense more. esp moore. its what he's good at. experienced player, he shoudl be able to spot the psace and direct our defensive players. we cant give the opposiotn space to attack us with. like i said we are weak on the wings and runs from midfield. thankfully brazil plays a more compact thru the middle game. carlos and cafu are threats of the wing, but not as much as robben and van pierse were today. very impressed with van pierse. if he can carry that form thru to the world cup then holland have a potent weapon. will be interesting to see how arse uses him next season. obviously ready for the first team. snejder was brillant. someone has to snap him up quick. kronkamp was rubbish. infact the dutch are quite weak defensively. looked better with hietinga. dont know why he didnt start really. unforunate that cocu and sneijder got injured. with van der vaart injured as well and van bommel picking up a knock, if holland go into the world cup wihtout those 4 fit,you write them off right now.
and what did i tell ya about van basten. man is a genius. beautiful old skool dutch 4-3-3. the ajax-holland-cryuff total football system. beautiful at its best. such slick passing, and brilliant attacking moves. they will be a forced to be reckoned wiht. i'll tell ya what, that group is gonna be the best to watch play. all four sides play different football. its gonna be a cracker
5days to go

An excellent result.
I would have been happy with a 3-1 loss before the game so I am really happy about this given that the Dutch put out a nearly full strength team. Heres hoping that they got out of the game injury-free even though it looks unlikley.
Our defence is in a shambolic state at the moment and I'm glad it got exposed against quality as Hiddink will really focus on it now.
I thought the game passed Grella by alot and he was forced to make many kick-ass tackles. When Cullina plays his game, we have alot of possesion as he is that type of player. I thought he had a poor game which is why we had such little possesion. He was still pretty good though Him and Grella got beaten but they were still servicable.
Viduka really gives me the shits. He can do so many things that other players could not dream of doing and when it comes to the bread and butter of a big striker, he fluffs it. Let's not speak of the missed penalty as well.
Thank goodness we have Cahill. He is really going to be handy and IMO will probably be our highest scorrer.
It's great that we have Kewell coming as well to give us some variety with Bresch and Cahill.
Archie will never do anything in Australian colours unfortunatley. Then again, he is playing off the bench all the time so it would be hard for him.
It may seem like i'm negative but I still expect us to make the round of 16.

no not negative. its a truth aint it. we are not going to be able to beat the best teams in the world unless we play at our very best all the time. just not enough quality in the side.
out midfield was weak today, but two of our best midfielders were not there in the first half. they will bring a lot to the team
agree about viduka, but having cahill will help him enormously. its a different ball game when you have someone like cahill running into the box and causing problems. it will create extra space for viduka

Very, very true.
He loves playing in a 5-man midfield so he can make those late surging runs without having to worry about lack of cover for the back 4.

I thought Schwazer's shot stopping was world class. He nearly stopped the goal.
It was only his slippery hands that I could fault

It's time to kick Vish's ass again because its Fantasy Team time!!someone get gomo a towel. There is the FOX Sports fantasy team where you can with 10k for being numero uno out of everyone. It is exactley like the fantasy premier league one - I'm already in and have created The Site of a web league again. The Code is 3030-2219There is also a BBC share type game where have stock in teams and the value of the teams goes higher and lower depending on how popular it is. I quite like it. I've also added The site of a web league there too but I will need your User ID number to add them in.

BTW I played the predictor on the BBC site and my boys at Serbia went all the way to the final.
The eventual winner of group C is a shoe-in for the final imo.

italy have a couple of injury concerns. gattusso out for the first two games. which is porbably a good thing cause de rossi will get to play. zambrotta out for the first game at least, i get to run the rule over fabio grosso who has signed for inter, but no one in the world can replace zambrotta. best fullback in the world, either flank. and nesta might be injured as well. not to mention totti just having recoverd from injury, and the scandel over buffon and cannavaro.
i'm considering going to TAB and putting some money on ghana making it to the second round, italy getting knocked out in the first round and of course have to put money on the aussies to draw against brazil. what do you think?
