like i told you before, i think we should at least book accomadation asap. at least in berlin for the final anyway the semi in munich is on the 5th, and the final is on the 9th. so book for 5 nights(6th to 10th)? that's will be the peak period in berlin anyway. anyway a lots been booked out the official fifa website. the cheapest i can find there is 470 euros for 5 nights for 4 ppl. but there are other hostels available at other sites.
so anyway should i assume caldwell is in then? i'll check with laz but most likely its the 4 of us. xiao pulled out cause he's going to spend 2 grand on some DJing equipment.
we can get flights next year
the fifa website says there is 300,000 tickets available in december. hopefully we'll get some.
re the soccer in sydney, i'm definately in. the match is on the 16th of november "Tickets to the biggest single sporting event in Australia this year go on sale to the Football Family on Monday 26 September and remaining tickets will be offered to Australian sports fans on 19 October" do you know who's going to buy them?

the wombat hostel in munich sent me this
Hi Ganesh,
right now we've got plenty of vacancy but we only have one 4 bed dorm which isn't available for the whole period of time. If you like to be private you could reserve a whole 6 bed dorm but you'd have to pay the price for 6 persons. Please send us a confirmation if you like to book.
Take care Torsten Wombats City Hostel
its one of the better hostels, and its quite cheap too. so at least we know we definately have accomadation in munich

Who is this Ganesh person that keeps cropping up in these emails that you always post here? I thought your name was Gonzo, Gomez, Gomesh, Gomego or Gomegotron? Can you find out how much a 6 person place is for that place for the 7 days(?) we are staying there? I'm good with beers now and now like some of them so this trip has become even better!

www.wombats-hostels.com/munich-hostel/index.phpThe rate for the 6 bedded room is , for your requested period, 22 € per Bed and night , and breakfast is 4€ extra. Hope to hear from you soon, Malole @ Wombats www.circus-berlin.de/i suggest we book an apartment at this place. look at the pics on the website. the apartment looks awesome for 130 euros per night

thats $202 a night AUD though which will go up to $1000+ all up if we say there for 5 days.
Thats alot of our buget we are loosing there. The only posiblity I would entertain there (an the other guys for that matter) would be 2 nights there.
Although I must say, those dorm rooms look quite depressing.
That Wombat place will turn out to be $41 a night with breakfast. $600 for 14 days and it looks decent.
How long are we staying for again? 3-4 weeks?

remember the apartment is 180 euros, not per person, but for the whole apartment per night. so thats 45 euros per person per night, which isn't that bad, but its up to you guys.
wombats good. supposedly top 10 in the cleanest hostels in the world.
i don't know how long we're staying for. ask joe and caldwell. i got exams possible til the 14th or 15th of june, and it depends on when the rest of you finish your exams as well. but didn't you want to go for the opening ceremony? and what about your plan of hanging around in europe. chances are i can't. i think i start uni really early, but i won't know till end of this year, so i probably will leave when we all leave berlin. ask the other guys, also we have to come up with the money. have you sorted it out yet? what about joe or caldwell? i don't know, too many things to sort out, all i know is, if we wnat to be in berlin during the final, we should book accomadation as soon as possible

IMO I beleive we should go for 3 weeks in Germany to keep the $$$ down.
I only spoke to them breifly about it but Caldwell said that he would like to stay as long as posible and Joe said he wants to stay long enough to go to Amsterdam.
It's all good and well to stay there as long as possible but whats the point when you don't have the $$$?
You cant defer the next 2nd semester can you?
