if we hung around for a fortnight, then we could watch the last round of the group games, and matches up to the semis something like this perhaps? Munich 18-Jun-2006 Group F Match 27 Munich 21-Jun-2006 Group C Match 38 Munich 24-Jun-2006 Final Sixteen Match 49 Dortmund 27-Jun-2006 Final Sixteen Match 55 Gelsenkirchen 01-Jul-2006 Quaterfinal Match 59 Dortmund 04-Jul-2006 Semifinal Match 61 (it takes an 1-2hrs by train to go to gelsenkirchen from dortmund) 2 group matches? 2 r/16 matches 1 quarters? 1 semi? Fuck this is going to be hard. Any chance of getting a price quote for sorry i modfied the above post after you posted. i'm going to get extra shifts at work. i have a fair bit saved up already, about 6k, and my parents probably will probably help me out a bit too. plus i have 3 months in summer to work. should be able to get 1k every fornight if i work fulltime. so i should be set. we'll see what the costs will be. obviously if they balloon out of proportion, we'll have to rework the trip. plus i have a feeling we probably coudl get accommadation cheaper if we get like a serviced apartment like at schoolies excellent to hear.

Nah I ment, buy a cheap/or the "final" tour with the there tix but stay for longer than is on the tour and buy scalpers tix cuz there is no way they will sell every ticket those scum buy, hence we will most likely get it at cost price.
Keiron is also in apart from us 3.
Ask Rahool.

bruce is away till monday. he's been on holiday for like 3 wks or something.
anyway like you said we get tickets for 3 frst round games and then accomadation till the end of the world cup. i'll also ask about prices for say a final or a semi.
and are we staying in just one city, or travelling around afterwards? and for 3 wks or 4 wks.
and what's our budget like. remember food/drinks are extra.
the guy i talked to said it woudn't be a problem, but he can't give us prices. only bruce can. obviously the longer we stay the more expensive it gets. i'd say that if we wanted to watch a final or semi that would add another grand at least. right now i think watching a semi better than a final, and then we just go to berlin during the finals itself. ask joe what he wants. he is coming after all.

nah as in what's the max we are going to pay the tour company.
yeah food/drink will be around 1 grand a week i guess
so is it 3 or 4 wks that were are going to be there?
and cities we're staying in? i'm assuming we will be in berlin for the final but what about the rest?i'm guessing munich to begin with and then what? frankfurt , dortmund??? or just in muncih the whole way

ask joe what he wants. he is coming after all. Hehehehe. I don't think he gives a fuck to tell you the truth. I'll just tell him whats going and he'll be happy. If he gives lip, I'll use some south florida oranges in a sack - They don't bruise.[family guy - bing crosby] I don't mind where we travel. You can decide that! God im helpful! ;D

ok, seeing as your useless , how about munich one week, dortmund one week and berlin one week. so thats a 3 wk trip. if you want 4 week, we'll go to frankfurt too. but seriously how much are we willing to pay them? 6k, 8k, 10k or 12k or even more than that. i can't go more than 15k for the whole trip, food and drinks included. i don't want to work that much. originally i didnt even wnat to go over 10k, but i can work in summer and get more money, so what's it gonna be

Hi Ganesh,
Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been out of the office.
I can supply your request per below departing Melbourne and staying in 3 star accommodation with match tickets as requested. Also a 4 day Germany rail pass. Cost is $12,990 per person twin share.
Does not include Departure taxes, Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature, etc
To confirm your acceptance I will require Booking Forms to be completed and payment of an initial $500 deposit per person.
Please advise very soon as I cannot hold any bookings without payment of the deposit and tickets are very limited.
Regards
Bruce Tilt Groups Consultant International Sports Tours PH: (02) 9922 6166 Fax: (02) 9957 4026
this is for the original fortnight plan. i'm sure if we drop the second round matches the price will drop, and then we can stay for another week for less money. btw what do you feel about 4 ppl sharing one room like at schoolies? or do you want two rooms with two beds in each. cause the one room is cheaper. and its 4 ppl right, since rahul has dropped out. i'm going to talk to him on wednesday, and i'll bring all the details to MJ's on friday. so we make the booking sometime next week. is that ok?
so its a week in munich, dortmund and then berlin, and we watch 3 first round games and the semi in dormund too. i'll drop the semi if it gets too expensive. how's that sound

Might make MJ's on Tuesday night cuz I might be unavailable on Friday night.

Hi Bruce, Like i told you when we spoke earlier, we are probably going to take option B in Munich, staying in Munich till perhaps the 25th and then heading to dortmund, where we will watch the semi final. we'll leave dormund on the 5th and head to berlin and stay there till the 11th(?) and fly back to melbourne. its a group of 4 people, and we'd prefer to stay in a suite that could accomadate all of us in one room, in 3/ 3 and a half star hotels. Could you give me a price quote on that, and an option without the price of the semi ticket, and the cost of upgrading to business class. also a price breakdown would be useful. Ganesh
btw he said upgrading to business class might cost another 6k, but he'll try to get best price. it will be out next month.
the price of the trainticket to visit the various cities, is 300 euros for a 4 day rail pass aroung germany, so that's not much. the price of accomadation in a city depends on if there is a world cup game that day. the last week in berlin will be obviously quite pricey.
also he wants us to book right away cause the prices are increasing. he said he would send me a booking form. we need to pay by credit card. i call you when i get it. i think we just book right away. after all we know that we are going. we can work out the details later, so that the price drops to 10k. btw what's your email so that i can forward you the booking form. you'll have to give it to joe and kieron
