Muse-Absolution (20 Euros).
Something of an impulse purchase, since i first heard of them here in Europe, but on the strength of what i heard here, was a sound purchase. One review described it as 'laughing in the face of subtlety' (in a good way), which is true, but it's good music, so who cares

BIG Muse fan here Harley.
BIG.
Although I must say, Origin of Symmetry is a better CD (despite the fact that I don't own it for some bizzare reason).
Some songs of the songs on it are 'legendry' whereas Absoulutions songs are more 'great'
Nontheless Harley, A class buy.
I highly reccomend The Strokes (Room on Fire) after a brief listen.

Yes, for some reason I had never heard of them till my holiday. First heard 'Time is Running Out' on tv and it took a while to penetrate, but 'Hysteria' had a major impact, and once I had heard 'Stockholm Syndrome', my mind was made up. I was buying the bastard. Other classy tracks include 'Apocalypse Please' and the dark horse 'Endlessly'. As for the strokes, have heard 12:51 and like it, but whether i would actually buy the cd remains to be seen.

Fan since year 9. It doesn't surprise me that you heard about them in Europe. They fill stadium gigs there with ease. Huge. RE: Strokes, Short but sweet. All 33ish(yes thats right) of it.

Some songs of the songs on it are 'legendry' whereas Absoulutions songs are more 'great' No it's not a commentary on your spelling or grammar (although you know who you are in there) You wouldn't call 'Hysteria' 'legendry' (sorry ? Or 'Stockholm Syndrome'? I would say 'Hysteria' almost definitely, and 'Stockholm Syndrome' damn close. But everyone's got their opinion. Anyway, such glittering praise has peaked my interest and I feel I must sample the album of which you speak so highly (probably back in Aust as cds are rather expensive over here) See ya soon
