fuck trying to get match tix to brazil vs aus. the prices have jumped to over 1300 for a cat 3 tix. i'm mad, but i'm not yet insane. thats just fucking ridiculous. the only way i'd pay for that is if i won the fucking lottery

Anyone without tickets to a socceroos game still unsure whether they will go to Germany or not should definately go. It's estimated between 25-40% of the people who attended games in Japan and Korea did so with tickets that were not issued to them. Over half the people to apply for tickets in each phase through FIFA have been Germans, surely plenty would have done so with the intention of re-selling. Sure you'll have to pay $300-$400 a ticket, but it's the world cup and our first chance to see our boys on the big stage for 32 years.

FIFA say that you won't be able to get into the stadium with a ticket which doesn't have your name on it. Bollocks. Can you imagine what will happen if 5,000 Poms or South Americans are turned away at the gates after forking out several hundred dollars to a scalper for a ticket? There will be a riot! And the world cup is FIFA's biggest event. They don't want stadiums that are 25% empty being broadcast around the world, it will look bad and the loss in revenue across the tournament in food and beverages alone would run into millions.

Go to Germany whether you have tickets or not. Book your own accommodation (my 12 nights in 3 star hotels cost me $1,500, a lot less than camping through Fagatics) but book it soon. Wear your socceroos gear at the fanparks and the pubs in Germany in the days leading up to the game and the scalpers will find you. Otherwise wait till 30 minutes before kick off outside the stadium.

WORLD CUP TIX

AT THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE, every day new tickets go on sale. i check every now and then. till today i mostly say unisia vs audia arabia tix, but just now i say tix to the serbia vs ivory coast game. .tried to get one for wedge, and it got sold out. there are a coule of other tix out there, but mostly small shitty countries like south korea or togo etc, but we shoudl check it regularly.

atm there are tix to rian vs angola and ukraine vs tunisia. small shitty countries that have no support, esp those damn ukranians ;D
