Arse and Man U are definatley the easiest team on the eye in the EPL.
Toon(post-Souness), West Ham and Tottenham when they don't play Mido(they play route one long ball stuff with him) are the best on the eye from the rest.

have you actually watched a united game recently? unlike most other teams, united wont put you to sleep. the arse game, was probably the best game seen in 2006 So ahh its not like Rooney is the whole united team, coz Ronaldo is too busy doing tricks while the rest of the midfield is dead, who is in ur centre of midfield anyway??? Giggs? Yer i'm sure u guys would put up a much better display against Barcelona than we did G, with that rock hard defense u guys have. Pirlo played average, Seedorf did wat he had to do, but Gattuso should've never been on the field, its shoulda been Kaka n Rui from the start. I think the 2nd leg of this tie was the best seen the yr, ask any football analyst. It was never a question of stopping Ronny, it was a question of how little damage he will do.

take off your red and black tinted glasses and be realistic. if the 2nd leg tie was the best seen this year, then we have seen some pretty piss poor football this season. how many true opportunities were created? how much space and time were the attackers allowed? as a football specticle it was pretty damn boring apart from the magic of ronaldinho, and the last 10 mins when kaka decided to come out and play. barca were defending from start to finish, relying on ronaldinho to exploit anything that he could. it was milan who were supposed to take the game to barca, but instead you have a defense thats flat footed, a midfield without spark, a striker who was invisible(i only saw sheva twice. the diving header and the ruled out goal. other than that he did nothing) and another striker who well does nothing anyway. lets face it, it united had played barca, we would probably have lost, but as a footballing spectacle, there probably wouldnt be a better game to see. this season i've only seen 3 really good games. real vs barca, arsenal vs real and united vs real (home team first) the best i ever saw from milan was the champions league final in the first half last season. then you were truely immense. but i havent seen anything like that this season, and i have seen quite a few full games of theirs (not highlights. you cant judge anything from highlights. highlights woudl make a chelsea vs liverpool game look like if was the best thing since sliced bread).
oh and i would take g.neville vidic ferdinand heinze and VDS over cafu nesta khaldze serginho and dida (if thats not your first choice defense then i do apologise, but who else would be there? the 40yo costacurta, the 37yo maldini or the 34yo stam)
and none of seedorf, gattuso or pirlo are good enough to even lace ryan giggs's boot. doubt anyone will remember those 3 in a few yrs(though seedorf being the statistical anomaly of the question: who has won the champions league with 3 different clubs), ,while giggs will go down as the best left winger of the 90s, and up there with the best of all time.
lastly, since we dont have ronaldinho, i'd happily take rooney to be the centre of our team. he's 20yo and he's probably the second best player in the world.
btw will you watch the chelski vs united game at TAB on saturday? its at 9.30. me, rahul and vish? will be there

Won't b watchin the game coz its past lol it was a good game tho. If Rooney would've scored it could've been completely different. I don't know if ur living off the old Man Utd or the new, there's no way i'd take either Vidic or Ferdinand over Nesta or Maldini...u have to be outta ur mind man as for G.Neville - Cafu's got him covered but Serginho is not a defender and should not b used as one so Heinze yer i agree with. Lets just look at the stats how many times has Man Utd won CL with G.Neville, Ferdinand, Heinze, Vidic....none how many times have we won it with Maldini, Costacurta, Kaladze, Nesta n Cafu once. Then if u go player by player it gets even better, how many times has Maldini won it compared to Ferdinand(who was at one stage the best English defender) umm lets see 6 compared to 0. Then we have UEFA cups Nesta, Maldini, Costacurta man its all in our favour. U seem to so easily forget that we beat u last yr convincingly 2-0 on aggregate. U played absolute rubbish those 2 matches and that's when u still had most of ur CL winning squad on the pitch and we were missing Sheva. The potential of ur players is greater than that of milan but whether they ever reach it, that's another question especially under a coach like Fergie. Pirlo will be remembered for his free kicks and his deep passing game, which he is the first to do. Maybe Veron comes close but he tends to play a bit higher up the park, but no italian will forget Pirlo anytime soon lol nor any Scot. I'll give u three other names from ur midfield O'Shae, Fletcher n Park who's gonna remember them??? Mate its pretty easy to see that Dida is a better than VDS atm u see the ratings he got against Barca? I reckon if u guys played Barcelona the score would've ended up in double figures and that got nothing to do with VDS.

you cant judge them on past achievements, but on current form. no one is saying that maldini is not one of the greatest defenders ever, or that cafu isnt one of the most decorated ever. but other than nesta, who is still the worlds best defender, the rest of your defense is pretty average. thats why you want to buy new defenders. and dida is rubbish atm. i would play kalac. maybe dida just needs a rest, but on current form VDS is better.
and yes i know man u's midfield is shit. everyone seems to know it except fergie.
and pirlo isnt that good. he goes missing too often in big games. not sure what he is like week in week out in the seria a, but in big european ties, he's invisible. and man u used to have a player who could score great freekicks and was known by the entire planet, doesnt mean he's a great player. but yeah, my problem with pirlo is that you can so easily make bypass him. btw i thought very highly of him since 99. was sure he would break into the inter team from the youth system, and considering that i have only ever picked him and matteo ferrari to make it from inter's reserves says something about how highly i rated them. he was always better suited to be a playmaker. this deep lying bullshit, means that you are forced to play gattusso as well to cover the defensive duties, to the detriment of your attacking game. but if i were to choose, i'd still drop seedorf. he's the worst of your midfielders. if vogel is as good as you say he is, then he should be played. problem is that ancelotti has his favourites and wont deviate from them. that will be his downfall. and why isnt jankolvski playing. i love that man. he's just awesome to watch

Seems like Ancelotti needs some better coaches around him. They seem like yes men to me. Well he assembled the squad and got into 2 finals n semi's ova the yrs so i think he's done ok. But he does have his favourites as he made the squad. I read somewhere that Galliani was saying that Milan has a coach cycle of 4yrs. Well i'm waiting r u? Yes Pirlo does go missing in the big matches dunno y. He needs to work on his game.

Pirlo is an easy player to mark out. Just don't give him space. That will limit his output a fair bit by just doing that.
He is especailly useless against teams in England who can control the tempo of the matches when in Europe. i.e. The Liverpool final.
Cracking player though. Love his through balls and set peices.

Funny u say that coz we owned Man U both legs, n we haven't played any other english opposition for a while. I don't think English teams can control their pace they only go all out, or even more all out. Italians n Spanish r renowned for slowing n speeding up tempo's. Yer Pirlo is marked out of it, just like most other defensive midfielders who create. ie Chelski's Makalele.

Man U are naive tactically in Europe which is what you have been talking about. Liverpool and now it seems Arsenal are the specific English teams I was on about who have the british bulldog-all-out mentality along with the smarts to slow shit down.

Milan trying to sign Favali for the last 3days from Inter yeah heard that too. favalli is leaving and i suppose milan is a likely source also heard that gallas is almost certainly leaving chelski to either italy or spain. you should get in quick and apparently you are after a striker? is that true? a back up or a first choice one?

He "starts" plays, he never "creates" plays. From memory, the match, Milan controlled the 2 legs with relative ease against UMan apart from the odd UMan break away - Fortunes embarrising miss. Having said that, It was a silly mistake that cost them in the end(?) Totally agree with you the EPL styles gomo. Chelsea are a quite remarkable team with an English core players but a foriegn style of play. Liverpools is Alonso who is the brains and Gerrard who is the bruan with the team falling into line - God help them if they are both out at the same time. Aresenal are a wierd one though. They are mostly attack-attack-attack like a true British team but the style of there attacks(One-touch on the deck stuff) is not british at all.

No idea man coz we got Amoroso he hasn't played at all, they might sell him; Kalac is apparently going to be 'a first team regular', Janku as well, next yr according to Ancellotti don't think Dida has signed a new contract as yet. It would have to be a back up man, Pippo n Sheva is like the deadliest combination ever seen and i'm not exaggerating that point either look at the stats.
